Atletico Madrid left back Filipe Luis is inching closer to a move to Chelsea after the London club agreed to meet his buyout clause in his contract. Initially, it seems the transfer won't go through because of the amount involved in the transfer. The Brazilian strongman would slot straight into the Chelsea XI since he would replace Ashley Cole who this week moved to AS Roma on a free transfer. The total amount involved in Filepe's buyout clause is €24m and the transfer would be completed this week.
The defender would be the second Atletico Madrid player to join Chelsea Fc if the transfer goes through.
